Cancellation Policy

Policy ensures home visits for aromatherapy massage are carried out safely, professionally and in line with best practice, Protecting both the therapist and client. 1. Booking and consultation •All home visits must be pre-booked directly with Root & Petal Botanicals. •A consultation form must be completed prior to first appointment to identify treatment objectives, medical history, allergies and any contra-indications. • Clients must provide a full address, contact number and emergency contact. 2. Location Requirements. •The treatment area must be clean, warm , quiet and free from smoke or strong odours. • Adequate space must be available for a portable massage couch and safe movement around it. •Pets should be kept safe, if possible in another room during treatment. •Children if possible to be supervised by another adult and not present in the treatment room. 3.Therapist Safety •The Therapist reserves the right to decline or discontinue treatment if they feel unsafe or the environment is unsuitable. •First Visits may require additional pre-check to verify suitability of environment. •No home visits will be carried out if minors are present- an adult must be at the home. 4. Client Safety •Treatments will not be provided if contraindications are present(e.g. infectious conditions, certain medical concerns). •Clients are advised to disclose changes in health prior to each treatment. •Emergency protocols will be followed if a client becomes unwell during treatment. 5.Equipment & Hygiene •The Therapist will provide a portable couch and all required equipment. •Fresh linens and towels will be used for each client. •Hands will be washed or sanitised before and after treatment. •Waste(e.g. tissues, bed roll) will be removed by the therapist. 6.Payment & Cancellation • Payment is required in advance or at the time of treatment(cash or secure transfer). •Cancellations require 24 hours notice, late cancellations will be charges at 50% of the treatment fee. •Travel surcharge may apply for locations beyond the standard service area, this will be communicated at point of booking. 7.Professional standards. •All treatments will be provided in line with the Federation of Holistic Therapists(FHT) code of conduct. •Client confidentiality will be respected at all times and in line with GDPR. •Insurance covers is in place for mobile treatments. 8.Limitations of Service. •Therapist reserves the right to refuse treatment if policy is not respected.
